Sri Raam Vidyalaya Public School (CBSE) , Sri Raam Nagar,Pottaneri, established in 2014-15 with the prime motto of education is to steer a child towards self-reliance, and to below the child with an open mind., is run under the aegis of the Sri Raam trust.It is located on the outskirts of the town of Mettur dam in a quiet place called Sri Raam Nagar.

The school has about 400+ students with 25 teaching staffs and 10 non teaching staffs .The school is spread over 3 acres of land, amidst green fields and away from the pollution and noise of the city/town.The school has an excellent infrastructure and is one of the best schools in Mettur Dam., construction is still going on as new buildings are being added regularly.

The school offers currently – CBSE.The campus contains well-lit airy class rooms, courtyards for indoor games, and beautiful lawns. Apart from the basic necessities which are kept clean and hygienic at all times, there are well equipped Science, Social Science, Maths and Computer labs. Well equipped language labs and A.V. Rooms further enable students to enhance their listening and speaking skills.
