Have you ever wondered about how the world around you would look like if you could travel with nearly the speed of light? Turn your smart phone or tablet into a special relativistic simulator and watch buildings around you apparently deform the faster you move.
The physics behind this visualization is the special relativistic aberration effect. The only thing you need is an image that covers the full sphere (4pi sterad) in equirectangular projection. The initial image shows a 4x4x4 grid. You as the observer will always be at the center of the image but you can have different velocities. To watch only the aberration effect, load a blank white image and modify the 'Grid strength'.
