The Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) How to Register & Eligibility Criteria
Any medical practitioner who has Full or Provisional Registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) under Section 29 shall be eligible for Ordinary Membership.
The name of the applicant should be proposed by two members of the Association who should countersign the application. All ordinary members are required to pay an annual subscription of Rs. 2500. Each year’s subscription shall entitle the member to all privileges of membership for that year. However Intern Medical Officers will not be eligible to vote or hold office.
