Speech Cadet is meant to be a very simple tool that allows you to quickly monitor your speaking speed while practicing a speech or giving a speech.

Just "Start Recording" and Speech Cadet will sample your speech while you speak and will show your estimated "Words Per Minute" as well as other metrics like "Syllables Per Minute" and "Estimated Total Syllables"

You can define your own Words Per Minute target range to match your desired speaking speed.

This app simply uses Google Voice Speech Recognition to perform the analysis - no data is stored or sent anywhere else.
