Sparkle TV is straightforward once your source is ready. Start by connecting your playlist or backend, and then tune the guide and channel groups for a clean layout.

Follow these steps to get started:

1. Open Sparkle TV and choose Add source. Select your format, for example m3u URL, Xtream Codes login, or a supported backend such as HdHomeRun, Jellyfin, or Tvheadend.
2. Enter your server details and, if needed, the XMLTV guide URL. Confirm and let Sparkle TV load channels and the initial EPG.
3. After setup, open Channels and mark favorites, reorder groups, and hide categories you do not want. Use Search to find shows and set quick access.
4. Then open Settings and choose Playback to enable Auto frame rate if your device supports it. If you have Plus, go to Timeshift and pick a storage location before pausing live TV.
5. So when you are ready, open the EPG, long press a show to record a program or a series with Plus, and use the player to switch audio or subtitles. If your provider supports it, try Multiview or open VOD and Catchup for movies and series with Plus.
