This app saves your life. Car security system.

GPS detects the speed of the car. If It detects a dramatic decrease in the speed, the alarm starts. If you do not shut It down in 10 seconds, an email with a map and your location will be send to your list of selected contacts.

The purpose of the application is to facilitate communication with emergency services. If the driver was unconscious the alert is sent automatically. Can also be done manually.

Other utilities:

Send your location when your car stops working and you do not know where you are.

Use It in public transport, etc... for emergencies.

Details:

SOSmyCar System works calculating three parameters by GPS every second:

1) Speed of your car: It is necessary to know the initial speed of braking.

2) Altitude: It is necessary to calculate the inclination of the plane.

3) Weather: It is necessary to calculate the road's coefficient of friction.

With these parameters we calculated the possibility of having an accident by three different algotithms:

1) Braking distance's algorithm : If real braking distance is much lower than estimated braking distance and final speed is 0.

2) Time's algorithm : If you go at high speed, and the next instant the rate is 30% lower.

3) Braking interval's algorithm : Once known braking, considering intervals between speeds. If there is a remarkable range may have been an accident.

It is important to know:

SOSmyCar is an additional security system for your car, and It is possible that automatic alert not works in some cases, because the kind of accidents is very varied. However, the alert can be activated manually if 3G coverage is available. Therefore, the application's author is not responsible for the improper functioning of it.
