It locks or unlocks the device without the need to press the power button.
Application needs device administration permission to lock the screen automatically. Please activate the policy when prompted by the application. It is one time process after installation of the application unless user removes the policy from device administrators. Please note that application will not work if device administrator is not activated for the application.
User can toggle on the application and select the desired functionalities. User can now exit the application. Application will work in background, it will lock or unlock the device according to the option selected by the user.
To uninstall the application, user will have to deactivate device administrator policy. Follow following steps to deactivate the device admin policy:
1. Open Settings
2.Security
3.Device Administrators
4.Uncheck Smart Sensor Device Admin policy.
5.Click Deactivate
User can now uninstall the application.
There are two settings provided for the user:
1. Lock Time: User can change the lock time of user\'s device after proximity sensor is blocked. Default value is 1 second. Maximum value can be 10 seconds.
2. User can also change the senstivity for proximity sensor. Low senstivity means that device will be locked only if object blocking proximity sensor is almost touching the device.
