Size Sort is the sports trivia game that puts your knowledge of athlete proportions to the test. Forget statistics and trophy counts — do you actually know who stands taller among the world's most iconic sports figures? Put your memory to work, arrange athletes from shortest to tallest, and discover just how well you truly know the legends of the game. It sounds simple. It rarely is.

📏 HOW SIZE SORT WORKS

In Size Sort, each round presents you with a group of famous athletes shuffled into a random order. Your task is straightforward: place them in a line from the shortest player at position 1 to the tallest at the last position. What makes this genuinely challenging is that no heights are displayed during play. You cannot look anything up — the game tests pure knowledge and intuition built from years of watching sport.

Each complete session contains 5 questions. The difficulty climbs with each round. Early questions give you a group of 4 athletes to sort. By the later rounds you are working with groups of 5 and then 6, increasing the number of comparisons you must make correctly in a single answer. The larger the group, the more precise your ranking needs to be.

⚔️ LIVES AND THE TIMER

Each session of Size Sort gives you exactly 3 attempts. Place the athletes in the wrong order and you burn one attempt. Use up all three before you complete the five questions and the game ends — regardless of how far you got.

Alongside the attempt system runs a 2-minute countdown clock that spans the entire session. All five questions must be answered before the timer reaches zero. The clock does not pause between questions and does not reset between rounds. It is one continuous pressure — which means pacing matters as much as accuracy.

📊 SCORING THAT REWARDS SPEED AND KNOWLEDGE

Every correct answer in Size Sort earns you points calculated from two factors: the number of athletes in the group and the time remaining on your countdown. A larger group solved with plenty of time left scores significantly more than a small group answered at the last second. The system rewards both confident knowledge and quick decision-making — two qualities that experienced sports fans have in abundance.

Your score accumulates across all five questions and is saved automatically when the session ends. Each completed game is recorded to a leaderboard stored on your device, giving you a permanent history of your scored sessions to revisit and build on.

🏅 TRACK YOUR PERFORMANCE

At the end of each game, Size Sort displays a complete summary of how you played. You will see your final score, the total time the session took, how many of the five questions you answered correctly, and your overall accuracy as a percentage. Below the summary, a leaderboard shows your completed games ranked from highest to lowest score so you can monitor your progress over time and aim to surpass your previous results.
