Turn the phone sideways for a full scientific pad across two pages — square root, cube root, absolute value, natural log and log base 10, sine, cosine and tangent with their inverses, the hyperbolic functions with theirs, powers, squares, cubes, factorial, e to the x, 2 to the x, reciprocal, pi and e — and a degrees/radians switch.

The calculation engine is checked on every build against a second implementation of the same mathematics, written separately, across a million different expressions. That testing is our own rather than an outside audit — but it is the reason the digits on screen can be trusted all the way to the last one shown.
