IMPORTANT: This app can only be operated and managed with the AX Manager Plus management software. THIS SOFTWARE HAS NOT YET BEEN RELEASED.

SYNC2Go is a solution consisting of a mobile application, cloud services and the AXM Plus locking system management software. The locking system administrator assigns access authorisations to the owner of the FORTLOX Key (mechatronic, Bluetooth-enabled key) and defines a time budget for how long the key is valid. Using the app, the key holder updates their FORTLOX Key, i.e. they receive updated authorisations and the time budget is extended. The following data is also transmitted:

- The battery status of the key is retrieved, displayed in the app and sent to the management software.

- IDs of blocked transponders and keys are transmitted to the FORTLOX Key so that it can transfer them to the lock cylinders and block them there.

- The access list of the FORTLOX Key is transmitted to the locking system software via the app and cloud services.

Important information / system requirements:

- The SYNC2Go app is part of a solution consisting of several components (AXM Plus management software, cloud service, hardware, firmware). Please note that not all components have been released yet, which means that the complete solution cannot be purchased and used at this time.

- Required hardware: compatible FORTLOX Key and other SimonsVoss components (FORTLOX cylinder, SmartRelais 3 as a gateway if required).

- The app itself is free of charge. Licensing is carried out via the management software.

- A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi, 4G/5G) is required to receive and update access rights. Only Bluetooth Low Energy is required to transfer data from a smartphone to the FORTLOX Key; no internet connection is necessary.

Data protection & security

• The app only transmits necessary data (access rights, battery status, lock list IDs, access lists, if explicitly activated) between the key, smartphone, cloud and management software.

• Data security is ensured by end-to-end encryption.

• The app does not send any personal data without express administrative approval.

Required permissions

• Bluetooth / BLE: Connection and data transfer to FORTLOX Keys.

• Internet access: Receipt of updated access rights and synchronisation with cloud/AXM Plus.

• Location (optional, depending on OS version): Some operating systems require location permissions for BLE scanning; the app only uses location data when necessary for BLE functions.

• Push notifications (optional): For administrative notices or status messages, if enabled.
