Clothes Design Patterns

Make a pattern by constructing a pattern of clothing based on certain body sizes, and the measurements are calculated mathematically and applied in the pattern image, so that the body of face, back, arms and skirt.

Tools and materials for creating Patterns

-Trade Measure, used to take body size or to draw patterns.

-The measuring tape is made by centimeters and inches.

-Book patterns or costume books, folio-sized with page sheets lined and plain. Striped sheets to record size and description, -she plain sheet for drawing patterns on a scale

-The scale or size of the comparison is the measure used to measure at the time of drawing patterns in the pattern book. This scale is made of rectangle-shaped cardboard of different sizes 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4, 1: 6 and 1: 8

- Black pencil for drawing original pattern lines

-Red pencil to draw a line pattern so the face

- Blue pencil to draw the pattern line so the back

- Straight line, elbow ruler and ruler of hip, neck and arm shape.

-Eraser

-Chocolate cover paper for designing materials and drawing patterns of large size or true size. The longitudinal lines on paper are likened to the direction of the long fabric fibers

- Scissors paper for cutting small and large pattern paper.
