The Al-Qur'an consists of letters that were revealed in two cities, there were letters that came down in Mecca, there were also letters that came down in Medina when Rasulullah SAW had emigrated to Medina. Generally, the letters that were revealed in Medina had many verses and were long, while the letters that were revealed in Mecca tended to be shorter and had fewer verses.
