ShamRoute Captain

ShamRoute Captain is the work app for the captains of delivery companies that run their orders on ShamRoute.

The app is invite-only. Your company creates your account and sends you an invite link or QR code; you choose a PIN and start. There is no public sign-up, and without an invite from a delivery company there is nothing to do in the app.

What it gives you:

• Your run on a map: your next stop on one card, with a call button and the next step, and the whole run one swipe away.

• One-tap calling: the recipient's number is a big button, because the call is what gets a delivery done.

• Directions: opens the drop-off in the navigation app you already use.

• Status updates: picked up, delivered or failed, with the reasons your company sets, one order at a time or several at once.

• The right amount at the door: the fee and the shop's goods money as they should be collected, no arithmetic.

• Works on a weak connection: what you do offline is saved and sent when the signal comes back.

• Warehouse: drop parcels at your company's warehouse or take a load from it in one tap.

• Captain-to-captain transfers: hand an order to a colleague or take one over.

• Your wallet: your balance and every movement on it.

• Notifications: a new order or a change to yours reaches you at once.

• Arabic and English, and a dark mode for night shifts.

Location: the app sends your location only while you are "On shift", including when the app is closed, so your company can see the delivery route on its map. It stops when you end the shift and is used for nothing else. The app explains this before it asks for any permission.
