Sentry Cam

Sentry Cam is the fastest way to flip every EZVIZ camera in your account between AWAY and HOME modes. No more opening each camera one by one to silence the alarm or turn notifications on and off — set your preferences once per camera, then tap a single button when you leave or come back.

KEY FEATURES

• One-tap AWAY / HOME — flip all your EZVIZ cameras at once. Each camera can have its own AWAY preset and its own HOME preset.

• Per-camera customisation — pick the alarm sound (Intensive, Soft, Disabled, or Schedule) and notification on/off independently for AWAY and HOME on every camera.

• Optional auto-return geofence — turn on a home radius and Sentry Cam will automatically switch your cameras back to HOME mode the moment your phone re-enters the area. No more cameras stuck in AWAY when you've already arrived home.

• Status at a glance — every camera card shows which mode it's currently in, with a clear green or red highlight.

• Stays signed in — credentials are stored securely on-device using your phone's keystore (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Sessions auto-refresh in the background.

• Works with your existing EZVIZ account — no separate signup. Just log in once and your cameras appear.

WHY SENTRY CAM EXISTS

If you have a few EZVIZ cameras at home, you've probably done the dance: walk out the front door, open the EZVIZ app, open each camera, change the alarm setting, change the notification setting, repeat for every camera. Then do it all again when you come home. Sentry Cam collapses that into one tap — and if you turn on auto-return, you don't even need to remember.

PRIVACY

Your EZVIZ email, password, and home location stay on your device. Sentry Cam never sends them to any third-party server. The only network calls are to EZVIZ's own API (the same endpoints the official app uses), and to Google AdMob for in-app advertising.

REQUIREMENTS

• An active EZVIZ account with at least one camera

• Android 8.0 or newer

• Location permission (only if you want the auto-return geofence — fully optional)
