How to Join Scogo as a Field Technician and Use the Scogo App:

1) Sign Up: Get started by installing the Scogo App, available for free. Sign up within the app and create your profile.

2) Profile Verification: Our team will verify the information you provided to ensure the authenticity and reliability of our field technician community.

3) Welcome to the Community: Congratulations! Once your profile is verified, you become a valued member of the Scogo Field Technician Community. Welcome aboard!

4) Free Training: Enhance your skills and knowledge with our free training sessions, designed to make you field-ready and excel in your role.

5) Field Service Tickets: As a verified member, you'll start receiving field service tickets through the Scogo App. These tickets represent specific jobs that require your expertise.

6) Ticket Acceptance: When you receive a service ticket, simply accept it if you're interested and available to work on it.

7) Job Completion and Signoff: Complete the assigned job and ensure customer satisfaction. Submit a customer signoff report through the Scogo App to finalize the job.

8) Quality Assurance Review: Our dedicated Customer Service Quality Assurance Team will review your signoff report to ensure the job meets our standards.

9) Signoff Approval and Payment: Once your signoff report is approved, you'll receive the agreed-upon payment, credited to your Scogo Wallet within 7 days.

Why we need live location ?

1) Customer Expectations: When customers book a service, they want to know when the engineer will arrive at the destination address and be able to track their progress using integrated Google Maps. The live location tracking feature is essential for a seamless customer experience.

2) Background Location Tracking: To ensure accurate tracking, the app needs to continuously track the location of the service engineer in the background. This is because once a service engineer accepts a ticket, they agree to reach the destination within a limited time window. Considering that service engineers often use their personal mode of transport, especially 2-wheelers, it is not practical for them to keep the Scogo App active at all times. Therefore, location information is only needed until the engineer reaches the destination site.

3) Reporting Progress to Customers: While the service engineer is en route to the destination address, it is crucial to have access to their live location feed. This allows us to report their progress to the customer who booked or hired the engineer for the job. Customers can stay informed about the estimated time of arrival.

4) Enhanced Navigation: In an upcoming release, we will enable step-by-step route navigation for service engineers. This feature will provide them with clear directions to reach the destination address efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery.

5) Efficient Ticket Distribution: Match nearby engineers to customers using location data, minimizing travel time and maximizing service provision for both engineers and customers.
