The SAM Madeira Bus uses GPS for geolocation purposes, like finding and showing the nearest bus stop to your current location, but also works offline as the timetables and bus routes are stored within your device.

For your convenience free Wi-Fi coverage is available on the Aerobus, at the bus terminals and the Express service of the green buses.

The Aerobus trip into Funchal takes approximately 40 minutes and departs from outside the arrivals terminal, you can’t miss it.

Travel tickets for all bus services are available on board.
