Lobishell - SSH Client

LobiShell is a modern Secure Shell client designed for secure, flexible, and efficient remote server management. The app supports traditional SSH as well as Mosh (Mobile Shell) connections, which maintain stability even on unstable or frequently changing network connections. Beyond pure terminal access, LobiShell provides comprehensive tools for file transfers via SCP — including both uploads and downloads of work files, backups, or configuration data. For more complex network requirements, port tunneling enables encrypted connections even over insecure networks, making it possible to securely access internal services from anywhere.

A central element of the app is the Identity Store, which centrally manages all authentication information such as key pairs and passwords. Multiple identities can be stored, organized, and quickly assigned to the appropriate server — without repeatedly entering credentials. Private keys remain securely stored on the device and are never transmitted externally. The Snippets feature complements this by allowing recurring commands or scripts to be saved and optionally executed automatically upon connection. This autostart functionality saves time on routine tasks and ensures consistent, reproducible workflows across different servers and sessions.

For data synchronization, LobiShell follows a "Bring Your Own Cloud" philosophy, giving users full control over where their data is stored. WebDAV support enables direct integration with services like Nextcloud or any other compatible cloud storage, allowing connections, port forwardings, and identities to be conveniently exchanged between multiple devices. For situations without an active internet connection, peer-to-peer synchronization allows direct data sharing between devices on the same local network — fast, private, and without any third-party involvement.

Complete backup and restore functionality rounds off the feature set. All data — including connections, snippets, and identities — can be exported and imported at any time, making migration to a new device or recovery after a system change straightforward and stress-free. Backups can optionally be protected with AES-256-GCM encryption, ensuring that sensitive information such as private keys and passwords remains secure even in exported files.
