Ruqyah is a therapy by reciting incantations.

While that is a Ruqyah Syar'iyah Syar'i therapy by reciting verses of the Holy Qur'an and prayers of protection derived from the Sunnah of the Prophet peace and blessings' alaihi wa sallam.

Ruqyah is therapy or treatment that is already in the time of ignorance. And when Muhammad blessings' alaihi wa sallam sent a messenger, ditetapkanlah Ruqyah allowed in Islam. He sends a letter al-Falaq and An-Naas is a function of prevention and therapy for those who believe in sorcery and santet.
