The remote phone book is an application that will be very handy to access the phone book remotely and can able to create, search, delete and update the contact list by sending sms .Thus this application makes the user get connected to his/her phone without it being physically available.

Key Features :

1. Setting a Password: - Create an alpha numeric key as password for the Remote Phone Book application. This password is used for connecting remotely to your phone.

2. Access List: - This feature allows the user to add a specific set of phone numbers to perform remote phone book feature. In addition to a specific list user can also choose to establish the remote connection from any phone by choosing the option "ALL".

3. Remote connection: - Considering Remote Phone Book application is active on the user phone. The user can remotely connect to his/her phone by using any other device, for example phone via SMS .In this process a user has to establish a connection to his Remote Phone Book. In order to do this process user has to send the message, including the password(passkey) to the Remote Phone Book. The remote phone book reads the message and authenticates by verifying the password for each message and also phone numbers(all or specific phone numbers).

4. Features of Remote Phone Book: - The user has the following features to access his/her contacts

a. Create contact : eg:- get "passkey" add "name" "phone"

b. Delete contact(s): eg:- get "passkey" delete "name" or

get "passkey" delete "name" "phone"

c. Search contact : eg:- get "passkey" send "name"

d. Update contact : eg:- get "passkey" update "name" "phone" or

get "passkey" update "name" "new-phone" "old-phone".
