Business Core POS is a practical, local-first point-of-sale and business workspace for small shops and growing businesses. Sell, control stock, create professional customer documents and understand the numbers without turning everyday work into complicated accounting.

LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN

Your working business records stay on the device. Firebase backup and restore happen only when you choose those actions in Settings. Selling, stock, documents and insights continue to work without an internet connection.

New users receive a guided first-sale walkthrough. Returning users can sign in to an existing account and restore a manual cloud backup. The app can be protected with a four-digit daily PIN.

Business Core Lite is now Business Core POS, with the same package name and signing identity so existing installations can update safely.

- Added sign-in for existing accounts and manual backup restoration after reinstalling.

## Review notes

The reviewer can create a new account inside the app or choose **Already have an account?** to sign in to an existing one. A new password must be 6–12 characters containing at least one letter and one number. The four-digit PIN is chosen during setup or restored locally after sign-in.

Camera permission is requested only when the user starts barcode scanning or image recognition. Notification permission is requested for scheduled and condition-based device reminders and remote service alerts. Internet access is used for account actions, notification delivery, manual Firebase backup/restore, current exchange-rate refresh and user-requested external sharing.
