EduCast is a software solution for broadcasting live audio. It consists in 2 parts: the recording application, you are about to download, and a broadcasting web player to be inserted into your website.

If you want to broadcast speeches and presentations or even live events and concerts, EduCast is your application.

The application was build to fit the requirements of an educational environment. It is used to support teachers and authors to provide seminars or courses where the audience can participate in distance and follows the speeches online. That is why all the events in the EduCast application are divided in courses and have lectures within.

Include the event player into your website and, as soon a user is visiting your page, the player starts to load and plays a waiting music until you start your broadcast.

The broadcast, due to the technical solution and buffering used on our servers, will have a delay of about 5 seconds, yet it allows you to broadcast to an infinite amount of listeners as your content will be provided from our servers. The traffic load is taken from you.

At the end of your broadcast, you will find in your account a recording of the transmission, ready to be downloaded and shared.

IMPORTANT: You will need a username and password. Please visit our website at http://www.educast.fm to obtain your account.

EduCast is fully accessible and it works with TalkBack together. Thus EduCast also offers blind authors effortless broadcasting options.
