Later it was suggested that Confucius as well as Mencius have played a key role in diverse chi beliefs. This gives moral training and mental discipline for the people practicing it. The clear description and information about these beliefs were kept confidential and cryptic and has confined them only to a few people. Chi practices were made in medicine too. The medical structure of China was made by incorporating magical experience demonology and religious practices. As the Qing rule came to an end the expansion of this chi art was least considered.
