Anselmo Ralph, whose real name is Anselmo Cordeiro da Mata, is an Angolan R & B singer, born March 12, 1981 in the Luanda province, the capital of Angola.
He left to study accounting at the City of New York City Borough of Manhattan Community College.
He moved to Madrid (Spain) from 1991 to 1992, and became a big fan of Juan Luis Guerra, one of the most popular Dominican singers, which will have a great influence on his future artistic career.
In 1995, he formed in Angola the hip-hop group NGB (Nova Geração Bantu), with whom he recorded the album "Tá-se Bem" in 1996 on the label of Eduardo Paím, EP Studios (EP are the initials Eduardo Paím).
The album did not come out until 1999, when the band had been disbanded since Anselmo Ralph returned to New York in 1998, and it was not good for promoting the album in Angola.
