Rosette Designer

Rosette Designer is an app for the design of mosaic rosettes, which are used as decorative elements around the soundholes of acoustic guitars. Select a color and draw in the provided "tile strip"; the pattern will be repeated along the strip and displayed "in the round" in the rosette view. You can select the symmetry used to define the repeating pattern, as well as the number of rows and columns in the fundamental tile. When you have a design you like, you can save it, share it with a friend via email, and save as a pdf with information needed for a luthier to construct the rosette.
