Why, the rooster, of course! With a cheery cock-a-doodle-do, the rooster wakes the farmer and his animals at dawn. Good morning chickens! Good morning cows! Good morning pigs!

But did you know that roosters call out, or "crow", at other times of day too? Roosters typically crow to alert other nearby chickens to their territorial claim. Different roosters can sound unique as well, depending on their breed and individual characteristics. Roosters can even cluck like hens!
