Rolling Icons turns the apps you already use into things that roll around your home screen. Tilt the phone and they tumble. Shake it and they scatter. Tap one and it opens, the way an icon should.

Then they settle.

That last part is the whole point. Most rolling wallpapers never stop moving, which is fun for a day and then quietly wears you down, because a home screen whose buttons drift is a home screen you cannot use. Here the icons come to rest and stay put. The wallpaper stops drawing, the sensor goes quiet, and your phone gets on with its day. Touch the screen, turn the phone or unlock it and they come straight back to life.

YOURS AND NOBODY ELSE'S

Everything stays on your phone. There is no account, no sign in, no analytics, and nothing is uploaded anywhere. Photos you add are copied into the app, so tidying up your gallery can never leave a hole in your wallpaper. The app does not ask for internet access at all.

ONE THING WORTH KNOWING

Android only lets a wallpaper open an app if that app is allowed to display over other apps. Moving Icons asks for that permission so tapping an icon opens it. It never draws anything over your screen. Turn it down and the wallpaper still works, tapping an icon just gives it a shove instead.
