ABOUT Risale-i Nur
The Risale-i Nur, which was written by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi in the period of 1925-1950 in Turkey, is a commentary on the Holy Qur'an. The Risale-i Nur is a substantive commentary of the Holy Qur'an, which sets forth the truths of faith in him (= the Quran) and interprets. Most Ayat, which are set out in the Risale-i Nur, deal with the truths of faith (iman), such as the name of Allah, His attributes, His power to dispose of the universe, His existence, ubiquity and unity, the resurrection, afterlife, prophethood, the fate (= God's foreknowledge) and the acts of worship (ibadah) of man.
