In 2079, we must go to Gate Six!
The game itself is average, but the unique animations and constant movement help to prevent it from being mistaken for a visual novel. The entire story is animated, using a good mix of comic strip, video, and dialog clips. The quality has improved since the beta, but the battles remain relatively bland. It is becoming harder to cite excessive automation as a downfall of any one game when it has become standard across most games. Similar to Eternal Rhapsody, there is a game board that the player must navigate manually between battles. This is slightly less boring than opening a map and manually selecting destinations, but still not a substitute for real interaction. Strategic features, such as target selection, have become rare in card battle games. It is nice to see this game left them behind in case you opt for the handicap of manual play.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtvCqSYAIlg
