Reversi (a.k.a. Othello) is a board game where two players try to control the most pieces by the end of the game. Each player starts with two pieces of their color near the middle of the board. During your turn you must play one of your pieces such that there is at least one piece of your opponent's color trapped between two of your own pieces. After your turn, all of the trapped pieces turn to your color. If there are no open spots for you to put a piece, you lose a turn. The game ends when neither player can make a move.
