Remember the Day is a very simplistic app similar to most personal diaries designed to quickly store any note that you have for the current day.

Remember the Day preserves your authentic memories through time-locked authenticity - our unique feature that ensures your emotional states remain genuine and true to the moment they were captured. Once a day has passed, you cannot edit it. This means your mood journal entries reflect your true feelings at that moment in time, creating an authentic record of your emotional journey.

This time-locked approach sets Remember the Day apart from other diary apps. Your past entries are permanently locked, preserving the authenticity of your memories and preventing you from altering your emotional history. This ensures that when you look back, you're seeing genuine reflections of how you felt, not revised versions.

All days are divided into three categories (Good, OK/Normal, Bad) which roughly describe the users mood or feelings on a particular day. The user can add a new note for the current day, view any previously noted day, change the current note during the day* and view some basic statistics about the stored note types.

Remember the Day has a basic password protection for entries** and an option for backing up and restoring the apps database***.

Remember the Day requires these permissions:

The permission for reading and writing on external storage for the backing up and restoring of the apps database feature.

The Camera permission for capturing images.

The Internet permission for crash reporting , location**** and ad's.

The Location permission to find the device's location and street name

The permission to access the network state - 'Share app' function, Ad's and crash reporting.

*Changes can be made only for the current day. Past entries are locked to preserve authentic mood records.

**Only the textual data of an entry is encoded and stored. Images will not be encoded. It's highly recommended to read more about this feature in the apps help menu.

***The device needs to have a mounted external storage SD memory card for this feature to work. It's highly recommended to read more about this feature in the apps help menu.

****The internet access for location depends on the device's location settings.

*****Google Play Services is required to be installed on the device for this feature to be available to the user. Depending on the users device's location settings, data charges may apply when using this feature.
