Reap Guard

Your phone talks to the internet all day, and most of that conversation happens without you. Reap Guard makes it visible, and puts you back in control.

Reap Guard is an on-device security and privacy guardian. It runs a local firewall on your own phone, watches the network behavior of the apps you have installed, shows you plainly who they are contacting, and blocks the trackers and ad networks you do not want them talking to. It does all of this on the device itself.

Nothing it finds ever leaves your phone. There is no account to create, no cloud to sign in to, and no server that we run. We do not collect your data, because there is nowhere for it to go. What Reap Guard learns about your phone stays on your phone.

WHAT IT DOES

See the traffic. Reap Guard shows you, app by app, which servers your apps reach out to and how often. The names you have been trusting on faith become something you can actually read.

Block the trackers. It ships with a curated set of known advertising, analytics, and tracking endpoints, and it stops your apps from reaching them. You choose what to allow and what to cut off.

Catch the noise. When an app is quietly uploading far more than it should, or reaching a destination it has no business reaching, Reap Guard flags it so you can decide what to do.

Stay honest. Reap Guard is deliberately visible on the phone it runs on. It is built to protect your own device, not to watch anyone.

HOW IT WORKS

Reap Guard uses Android's built-in VpnService to route your traffic through a local filter that runs entirely on the device. This is not a remote VPN. Your traffic is not sent to us or to any third party. The VpnService permission is used only to inspect and filter connections locally, so the app can show you what is happening and block what you ask it to.

Your settings are stored in an encrypted database on the device, protected by hardware-backed keys and a recovery passphrase that only you hold. We cannot recover it, because we never receive it.

HONEST ABOUT LIMITS

Reap Guard is a strong tool, not a magic shield. Blocking by name cannot stop an app that hard-codes its addresses, and it cannot read inside connections that are encrypted and pinned. It tells you the truth about what it can and cannot see, so you are never given a false sense of safety.
