Radio Pikan

Pikan is a cultural association radio founded on October 31, 1982 by several initiators. RADIO PIKAN broadcasts a diverse range of programs, highlighting the music of the Indian Ocean and promoting the cultural richness of this region. Although the majority of shows are hosted in Creole, reflecting the local linguistic heritage, a significant number are also offered in French, aiming to reach a wider audience. The station is recognized for its commitment to promoting arts and traditions, and it serves as a platform for social debates, education and entertainment, consolidating its role as a vector of culture in the community.
