Radio Norte Verde

The medium is defined as an independent station without any connection to organizations that are not news or communication. She is currently affiliated with the Association of Radio Broadcasters of Chile, ARCHI.

The oldest record of the radio station's first transmission dates from the date of February 7, 1951, which makes it one of the oldest radio stations in the region. In its first years it transmitted in the frequency of 640 AM with a power of 500 Watts, to then change to its current location on the 620 AM dial with a power of 1000 Watts since 1963.

Radio Norte Verde has managed to stay in force for so long since its foundation because it was able to mint a distinctive seal on its programming with contents close to its auditors.

The Association of Radio Broadcasters of Chile (ARCHI) states on its website that the radio station can reach communes in the Fifth Region of Valparaíso such as San Antonio, Las Cruces, Algarrobo, among others. However, it also states that the coverage of the radio signal is much greater than what they can calculate with their measurement method, since it will depend exclusively on the geographical conditions in each case.
