Write one line the way you would say it, and it becomes an event.
"Next Tuesday 3pm quarterly review with the team in the meeting room"
Type that, and the date, time, place and people are picked out for you
and saved to your calendar.
■ How it works
1. Select a sentence in a chat or an email and share it to QuickCal.
2. The app shows you what it understood, marked in colour.
3. Check it, save it, done.
You never have to open the app first. From the sentence to a saved event
takes a few seconds, right where you found it.
■ What it picks out
· Dates: tomorrow, next Tuesday, 3 September, end of the month
· Times: 3pm, 15:00, half past three, from 2 to 5
· All day: annual leave, half day, working from home, business trip
· Repeats: every Wednesday, every other week, first Monday of the month
· Places: in the meeting room, at Central Station, room 3B
· People: with Alex, with the design team
Whatever the app reads is highlighted over your original sentence, so you
can see exactly what was understood before you save.
■ Features
· A weekly home screen. The whole week at a glance.
· A warning before you save if something else is already at that time.
· A flag when the time was not read with confidence, so you can check it.
· Undo, right after saving.
· A home screen widget that takes you straight to the input box.
· One reminder a day with what today holds, at a time you choose.
· Defaults for calendar, alert and event length.
· You decide the hour below which a bare number is read as afternoon.
· Light, dark and system themes.
■ It stays on your device
· Your sentence is interpreted entirely on the device.
· Events are written to the calendar already on your phone. There is no
separate store of your data.
· There is no account to create.
· Your last 20 entries stay on the device and can be cleared in settings.
■ Permissions
· Calendar: to read and save your events.
· Notifications: to send the daily reminder. Turn it off if you prefer.
