Qibla is a precise, privacy-first Qibla compass that runs on-device. It uses your phone’s sensors to show the direction of the Kaaba (Qibla), your current city with coordinates, and the great-circle distance to Masjid al-Haram—clearly and in real time.

How it works

Qibla computes direction from your current location and sensors (magnetometer/accelerometer/gyroscope). Calculations are performed locally; your precise location and sensor data are not sent to our servers.

Tips for best accuracy

Calibrate the compass when prompted (move the phone in a figure-8)

Keep the device away from magnets/metal; remove magnetic cases

Enable location for the most accurate bearing and distance

Privacy & Ads (AdMob)

Weissenburg Dev does not run accounts, logins, or cloud sync for Qibla. Location and sensor data for Qibla’s core features stay on your device.

The app displays ads using Google AdMob. When ads load, Google (not Qibla) may process Advertising ID, approximate location (e.g., via IP), device/app info, and ad interactions/diagnostics to deliver, measure, and protect against fraud.

In the EEA/UK/CH, you’ll see a consent prompt; your choice (personalized or non-personalized) is honored.

You can reset the Advertising ID and/or turn off ad personalization in Android settings.
