Princess Bed Designs

When I was a little girl I remember having a princess bedroom theme. I had pretty striped wallpaper with yellow flowers on my walls and an adorable white dresser set with matching yellow plates on the front. I remember how excited I was when I got my day bed with a matching yellow comforter. It was a great room for a little girl.

These days there are so many things you can do when decorating a bedroom for girls. If you look at the princess theme bedroom the options for decorating are endless. Same with boy themes, but princesses has to have the biggest range of bedroom decor.

Many of the princess decorations are based on the Disney movie characters. This is great because if your daughter has a favorite princess such as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, Jasmine from Aladdin, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, or Aurora from The Sleeping Beauty, you can find a bedroom set based on that princess.

You can get bedspreads, sheets, pillow cases, blankets and matching bed skirts for most of these popular characters. Many of them even have matching curtains and wall murals to go with them. You can even get a bunk bed in the shape of a castle. You can add a princess vanity set, table and chairs, dressers and other furniture as well to go with.

There are also all kinds of wall decals, stickers or wall paper borders you can get to match her princess themed room. Wall decals are great because you can add a castle to one of her walls, a picture of Belle, Cinderella or any Disney character to another wall. What about putting up some flowers, butterflies, clouds, rainbows, whatever you can think of. These decals can really light up the room.
