A wise user always adds 10% or more.

Know that not all 4' x 8' sheets actually cover that much. Advantec only covers 47 1/2".

When dealing with rips, this tool considers all scrap being reused.

If this is impractical, then don't do it.

Complex shapes should be broken down into simple rectangles whenever possible.

All other shapes should rely on simple geometry.
