Pixel Striker

Play as a soccer player and try and score/save as many goals as you can in an endless arcade-style soccer game!

Pixel Striker features three different game modes, free kicks, penalties, and goalie mode, each with its own sets of achievements and high scores.

FREE KICKS

Both the ball and player are placed in random locations on the field. The player must then shoot the ball and the goalie will always dive in the correct way to save the ball. The player must shoot the ball in such a way that the goalie is unable to save it.

PENALTIES

The player and ball are placed in the same locations every time, such as in normal soccer. The goalie will choose a random direction to dive in to save the ball and the player must select a corner or predict where the goalie is moving to score.

GOALIE

Swaps the role of the player, and the player must now save the ball. Places the player in the middle of the goal every time and the ball in a random location. The AI will randomly select a direction and strength to kick the ball. The player can swipe to dive in a direction and save the ball.

ACHIEVEMENTS

There are two achievements for each game mode and a leaderboard for each game mode.

I created this game in around 3 days just to challenge myself to learn new technology. This game is completely open-source and you are free to use the code however you wish. The game was developed using the Godot game engine.
