Pixel Pause: Color by Number

Take a Pixel Pause.

Pixel Pause is a cozy pixel art color by number game made for quiet, stress-free coloring. Choose a color, tap or swipe across the numbered pixels, and watch each picture come to life one pixel at a time.

No timers. No streaks. No daily rewards to chase. Color for two minutes or settle in for an hour - and come back whenever you like.

★ 176 HAND-PICKED PIXEL PICTURES

Color your way through 11 chapters with 176 hand-picked pixel pictures. Discover animals, food, flowers, cozy places, faraway lands, peaceful scenes and even a few famous paintings recreated as pixel art.

Pictures range from quick 16×16 pixel art to detailed 128×128 coloring pictures, so you can choose a small relaxing break or something to spend more time with.

Each chapter also contains hidden bonus pictures that reveal themselves as you color.

★ PAINT IN NINE STYLES

Plain color is only the beginning. As you paint, new looks open up for your pictures: mosaic tiles, toy bricks, beads, wood blocks, cross stitch, sparkling sequins, stained glass and shimmering jewels. Every finished picture can wear a different one.

★ GENTLE BY DESIGN

• Swipe to paint whole rows, tap for single pixels

• Enjoy a soft kalimba or singing-bowl melody as you color

• Mistakes are no problem: a wrong cell just stays pale until you fix it

• Turn on "Stay inside the lines" if you never want to paint outside

• Zoom with two fingers or with the + and - buttons

• Matching cells are gently marked, so you always know where to go

There is no rush and no score to beat.

★ LITTLE HELPERS ALONG THE WAY

Need a little help? Use binoculars to find missing cells, a larger brush for big areas, or the double tap color picker to select the color of any pixel.

★ COLOR AT YOUR OWN PACE

Pixel Pause is designed to be a calmer kind of coloring game. There is no competition and no daily routine you have to maintain. Your progress is simply the pictures you color.

As you continue, new chapters, painting styles and tools become available. A short tutorial on your first picture teaches you everything you need to know.

Pixel Pause is free to play and supported by ads. No account, no sign-up.

No streaks. No pressure. Just color.
