Pingoo

Pingoo is a cross-device SMS synchronisation app. It syncs the SMS of the Android phone that holds your SIM to your other devices, such as between phone and laptop, so you can read and reply to your messages from the device in front of you. Nothing is shared with anyone else, and the connected device needs no SIM of its own.

WHAT IT DOES

- Syncs your own incoming SMS from your Android SIM phone to your laptop (Pingoo Web in the browser), your iPhone or another Android phone.

- Lets you reply from the connected device. Your reply is sent as a normal SMS by your SIM phone, from SIM 1 or SIM 2 as you choose. Pingoo only sends what you type.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Install Pingoo on the Android phone with your SIM and choose "This SIM phone shares SMS".

2. On your laptop open Pingoo Web at web.pingoo.pages.dev, or install Pingoo on your other phone and choose "Receive SMS on this phone".

3. Link them: scan the QR code shown on the SIM phone, or on a laptop paste the code it shows. The two devices create a private key that only they share.

4. New SMS appear on the linked device within seconds. Reply right there.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

- End-to-end encrypted: each message and each reply is encrypted on your device before it leaves, and only your linked device can read it. Nobody in between can, including us.

- No account, no phone number, no sign-up. The QR code or the one-time code is the only link.

- Pause syncing or unlink at any time.

- SMS access is used only to sync your own SMS to the device you linked and to send the replies you write there.

WHAT YOU GET

- Every new SMS synced in real time, with the sender's name from your contacts.

- Replies from your laptop or other phone, on the SIM you pick on dual-SIM phones.

- New message to any number, sent from your SIM phone.

- One-tap copy for verification codes.

- Conversations grouped by sender, unread badges and delivery ticks.

- Only SMS that arrive after linking are synced; linked devices keep them for 30 days.

- Works with the app closed: the message shows on the lock screen.

- English, Urdu, Arabic, Hindi, Spanish and Chinese.

An Android phone with your SIM running Pingoo, and a second device you own: a laptop or computer with a web browser, an iPhone, or another Android phone.
