Good Shepherd parish

The Good Shepherd parish in Warsaw - Miedzeszyn is a young community. The first works related to the creation of a new Pastoral Center began on July 6, 2004 under the watchful eye of Father Bronisław Mick. On October 10, the first Mass was celebrated in the square, presided by His Excellency Archbishop Sławoj Głódź. During the Eucharist he sacrificed the square, cross and walls of the chapel. On Christmas night, the first Mass was celebrated within the walls of the erected chapel, but it was not until November 1, 2005 that the permanent order of daily Masses was introduced.

By decree of 11 December 2008, Archbishop Henryk Hoser SAC erected the parish and appointed Father Bronisław Mick as the first pastor. The decree was issued on December 25.

From August 9, 2009, Father Ireneusz Węgrzynowicz became the new parish priest, who took many initiatives to integrate the community and further modernize the chapel.

From July 1, 2012, the parish priest is Fr. Marcin Ożóg.
