This is a story about a small world, that began 50 years ago when Amerigo Pellegrini, young carpenter, started a craftmade lab on just 100 mq, in order to produce wooden doors and windows. Nowadays Amerigo Pellegrini is the President of the Pail Serramenti, a company that has been able to evolve in an industrial way, thanks to a deep knowledge of wood, thanks to respect for old work-techniques and steady research to technological innovation. Sandro, Fausto, Paolo and Emanuela Pellegrini stay by their father, managing this big Company.

The numbers of our success

Pail is a leading company in producing interior doors and wooden, wooden-aluminium, aluminium and PVC windows. One productive world that has more than 200 subordinates shared on four factories, on about 100.000 mq surface (45.000 mq covered surface). Every year Pail makes out 75.000 internal doors, 15.000 external windows, semi-manufactured and wooden components, for home and foreign market.

From the nobility of wood to the technology of pvc

The satisfaction of our customers has led us to offer high quality products and highly diversified. To the original raw wood material with which we manufacture our internal doors, windows and shading systems, aluminium an PVC have been added to our production over time, proving to be ideal materials and technically valid for the construction of different types of windows. Furthermore, an internal Pail division, highly specialized, uses the same raw materials and technologies in the production of semi-finished products and components (door frames, mouldings, raised panels, etc..) so that it can guarantee aesthetic uniformity, colour and quality.

Pail mixes craft and technology, it aims at innovation and steady renewal. Our work starts from our men’s skills, that have been able to evolve respecting tradition and care for every single item. Since the request, draw materials are given a bar-code that shows the technical caracteristics.

Promoting sustainable development means producing respecting the territory, resources, and its socio-economic structure, monitoring the impact on the environment and to define strategies and objectives designed to protect it. For this Pail has adopted the quality management certified system according to UNI EN ISO 9001 and the environmental management certified system according to UNI EN ISO 14001, as voluntary self-controlling and responsibility instruments.

The focus on sustainability concerns not only the procedures but also the products used such as selected wood, water-based paints and solvent-free adhesives which, together with technological water treatment plants, filtration and disposal, cut down the environmental impact of the production. The confidence and belief in renewable energy led to invest in a photovoltaic system installed on the company facilities, which now allows the company to generate its own electricity needs.
