Orthelligent is a practical, portable and cost effective wearable monitor to use in training – both for prevention and rehabilitation.

With Orthelligent you can identify weak points in the athlete’s performance to prevent injury. Orthelligent will measure and compare imbalances between the right and left side.

It’s easy to set up and the real time results means adjustments can be integrated into training immediately. The Digital monitoring works via a small medically grade 9-axis Motion sensor and the Orthelligent app. In several predetermined tests the sensor collects data for the evaluation of particular movements. Then the sensor displays the data in a graph. The current tests are grouped into three categories: range of motion, coordination and strength, and speed.

For the tests, the small medically grade 9-axis motion sensor is attached to the leg to be measured and via bluetooth connected with the smartphone or tablet. The measurement results of the right side are compared with those of the left side - this value is displayed in the Fit Index. Internationally, it is referred to as the Limb Symmetry Index (LSI).
