At Medibank we know that accessing healthcare may be difficult right now. That’s why we have partnered with Medinet to provide our customers with access to an online GP service. While it is as important as ever to see your regular GP, it is not always possible, particularly after hours or weekends. If you need support but are having trouble seeing your regular GP, a team of Australian qualified doctors are available to consult you 24/7 from the comfort and security of your own home.

The Online Clinic app for Medibank customers, powered by Medinet, allows you to:

- Consult with an Australian qualified GP for scripts and medical certificates

- Book an appointment with medical centres on the Medinet platform

- Self check-in of your appointment using your personal QR code with medical centres on the Medinet platform

- Be notified of medical results when received by the medical practice

During the pandemic video consultations are bulk-billed through Medicare. Please ensure that the Medicare details in your profile are up to date before the consultation.

The app is powered and supported by Medinet Australia Pty Ltd, which is not related to Medibank, and is subject to Medinet T&Cs and Privacy Policy. Please note that all practitioners providing services via the App are independent GPs engaged by Medinet. If the GP recommends a follow-up please make sure that you explicitly discuss next steps with the GP before ending the consultation.
