NPSH

Another small App developed by TALO-tech to enable you to calculate easily & efficiently the NPSH for centrifugal pumps, in this App we listed down 4 common cases depends on the pump position & the tank property… these cases are (Flooded suction Open/Closed Tank, Suction lift case & finally existing system).

The Available NPSH (NPSHA): a measure of how close the fluid at a given point is to flashing, and so to cavitation.

The Required NPSH (NPSHR): the head value at the suction side (e.g. the inlet of a pump) required to keep the fluid away from cavitating
