The Zoom HRV app is an advanced training tool designed to work seamlessly with the LifeTrak Zoom HRV, the first wearable to automatically measure both Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Continuous Heart Rate - accurately from the wrist.

Until now, measuring HRV required sophisticated medical equipment, cumbersome chest belts or slow finger-touch readings. By contrast, ZOOM automatically detects your HRV hands-free during the day and systematically during periods of deep sleep to provide an ongoing highly personal wellness assessment called VScore. Your VScore can be tracked over time on the Zoom HRV app to monitor increases and decreases in your physical wellbeing. Or for an on-demand measurement, ZOOM will perform a 3-minute VScan to reveal your real-time recovery status and readiness to train.

With a push of a button ZOOM continuously measures your heart rate, monitors all physical activity, auto-detects sleep, calculates calories burned based on heart rate intensity, records your heart rate zone activity during your workouts, manages ambient blue light exposure and even counts laps in the pool. Zoom is water resistant to 50 meters and provides streaming biofeedback on a single charge for 5 days.

Unlike the more simplistic devices crowding the market, ZOOM adapts its bio-sensing capabilities to varying body locations based on functional need. For runners who prefer easy-to-view optics ZOOM secures to the wrist to detect and display critical in-motion heart-rate zone data. For those who elect to free up the wrist during activities such as yoga, swimming, cross-fit and other forms of interval and strength training ZOOM relocates to the forearm or upper arm. For all types of cycling from road riding to indoor EPOC cycling ZOOM secures to the ankle to measure cadence metrics and heart-rate intensity.

This advance in versatility is made possible through ZOOM’s lightweight pod design which easily locks into and out of custom-designed Flex Wear accessories to meet the needs of multi-sport athletes. But the ZOOM’s versatility doesn’t stop there. Understanding that swimming is an essential training component to many, ZOOM performs seamlessly under water detecting heart-rate data, pool laps and calories-burned during swimming.

Zoom HRV and its app track four different workout types: General Exercise, Running/Waling, Swimming and Cycling. The app provides you with specific insights to your activities.
