QoE and QoS analysis on your smartphone

The technical characteristics and the wide use of smartphones opened the way for innovative usage of smartphones in technical service and network analysis from end user position.

Radio engineers, QoE specialist or interested private persons will get with engineering app an easy to use tool to get insight in call performance and mobile data service quality (browsing, YouTube or down/uploading).

The Engineering app enables radio (RAN) measurements, active call test and mobile data service tests:

· Mobile to mobile call tests (CS, CSFB, VoLTE)

· Mobile to fix network call tests

· Service quality of browsing targets (browsing success rates, page loading times,..)

· YouTube Video performance (video MOS, initial pay out delay, number of rebufferings,..

· Download/upload probing (HTTP RTTs, throughput,..)

· Backhaul packet performance (RTT, jitter, packet loss,..)

· Signal strength and quality measurements (2G, WCDMA, LTE, WIFI)

· Network information (LAC/TAC, cell ids, ..)

The measurements can run scheduled in background (unmanned like) or in a walk/drive test mode.

The measurements are displayed as tables, charts, maps, logs and cell traces on app GUI.

You can configure what measurements you want to do, also you can force privacy.
