TrackDay provides a useful tool for motor racing enthusiasts taking their car out on a track day. It uses the phone's GPS capability to implement automatic timing of user defined sectors on a track layout. Firstly, use the Sectors function to mark out sectors on the circuit. These are then used by the Timer function to automatically record sector and lap splits as you drive around the circuit. The application will keep a log of the best times and showing the delta from the best lap and sector times.
The application also provides the facility to review the collected data and save and retrieve the data to external files.
