Swachh Survey 2018 - Aurangabad City

Swachh Survey 2018 is a project undertaken by students of MIT(T), Aurangabad to study "Impact Of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan In Urban Areas" (i.e. Aurangabad City). This project aims to study, survey, analyze and find a suitable and sustainable solution for solid waste related issues in the city.

Prerequisite:

Before starting any project it is necessary to know about it and it's objectives. In Prerequisite, the main objective is to learn about Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and about its objectives and current status of a city with the help of documents, journal papers, reports and maps from various sources.

After the study is done, the main aim is to form questions to survey and understand issues, suggestions and opinion of a citizen on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

Survey:

The survey is divided into three sub-categories;

A)Public/Citizen Survey:

In Public Survey, the data is to be collected from all around the Aurangabad City and with the help of "Swachh Survey App". The main objectives are to know the Knowledge, Issues, Opinions of citizen regarding Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and try to find a suitable and sustainable solution for it.

B)Revaluation Survey:

In the Revaluation Survey, the main aim is to reach out within the areas where issues are reported in Public Survey and understand the root cause of the issue from local people and ward in charge.

C)Municipal Survey:

In Municipal Survey, The aim is to visit Aurangabad Municipal Authority regarding the issues observed in Public & Revaluation Survey to understand the root cause of the problems.

The Final Report:

In the final step of the project, the main objective is to understand the current situation, problems, possibilities and find out a suitable and sustainable solution to Aurangabad Municipal Corporation for further Action.
