We are a thriving culture of badass women who live, work, love and travel far from where we started - or want to.

​We are a global community and have 140 local communities all over the world. We create 1000s of free, fun, super chill events, a free biannual digital lifestyle magazine with over 100,000 unique readers.

The Girl Gone International app is new, easy, safe, much needed way to bring mobile women all over the world together.

The app actively suggests other members of the GGI community in your city or your destination that have shared interests, plans and / or professional goals.

This makes it super easy to find other like-minded women, create authentic connections, meaningful interactions, building a strong friendship and professional network across the world.

You can swipe left or right to browse profiles and can start a chat in the app when you want to connect with somebody to arrange to meet up in person wherever in the world you find yourself!

How to use this app?

1. Tell us a bit about yourself

You tell us what you are looking for and what you can offer (e.g. friendship, socialising, job opportunities, travel buddy, BFF, co-founder, mentor, flatmate etc.) and we suggest GGIs (you don’t know yet) that can help you or that you can help!

While you are sleeping, the Girl Gone International app is busy discovering profiles that match to yours.

2. See matches

Our algorithm takes your (chosen) location, your life goals, your industry, your interests and the ways you prefer to meet - and we match you to others who are a good match.

To make interaction easier, we’ll tell you the reasons why you should connect with your GGI match.

3. Connect, chat and meet

Once you are connected with your sister GGIs, you can chat and organise in-real-life meetings.

The app helps you create valuable new connections both professionally and socially which can be tough to do when you are far from the familiar.

The app brings us closer, to support one another, grow a support system and a network based on shared values, community and girlpower that will empower us personally, professional and geographically to go further than we could ever go alone.
